Well, the Republican candidates for President held a debate in New Hampshire earlier this week. I guess I might as well talk about it. These are the candidates and what I thought of them based on their performances:
1) Herman Cain - this debate did not go well for him. He's a businessman and he has a lot of good ideas. Clearly he knows how to handle a big spending and debt problem. But what he demonstrated at this debate is that he isn't very smooth at explaining things while on the spot with the left-leaning Press. He fumbled a question about allowing Muslims in his cabinet. It's still early and he can recover, but it didn't bode well for him.
2) Tim Pawlenty - for awhile he had looked like a reasonably strong candidate, even taking on Mitt Romney's disastrous Massachusetts healtcare mandate the day before on Fox News. But once he was on the stage next to Mr Romney and asked to restate what he had said earlier about 'Romneycare' he ... blinked. He refused to criticize Romneycare or say anything in any way negative about Mitt Romney's bad healtcare mandate for Massachusetts. I understand about not wanting to be an asshole and take a giant shit on your fellow party members, but what he did came across more as fear of Mitt Romney, as spinelessness and weakness, than as being respectful. It will cost him. America is looking for a 'real man' right now and that wasn't very manly.
3) Ron Paul - I've heard a lot of love for him from the most die hard conservative voters. They love several things he's said and done. But his "gosh ah shucks" Texas cowboy approach to this debate didn't cut it. He was unimpressive and reminded me of Jed Clampett from The Beverly Hillbillies. Jed Clampett was a plain spoken, decent and honest man, but who the hell would choose him to be President of the United States?
4) Rick Santorum - he seems to say what he means, and he shows conviction. He's not overflowing with charisma, but to conservative voters, the fact that he stands up for what they believe and doesn't dance back and forth on those key issues speaks volumes. He's not a total unknown, but he's not well known enough to be a serious threat just yet. As things shake up, if he can just stay the course and not stumble or repeatedly sabotage himself with stupid photos of him sticking his tongue out like John McCain, he could be a contender.
5) Newt Gingrich - he's trying to dance closely enough to the Republican Party leaders' to draw their love, while at the same time attacking President Obama on key issues that voters are angry about. When he's focused on the issues voters care about he's fine. But when he dances over to the side of issues that endear him to the Party Leaders he shows himself to be yet another treacherous compromising candidate of the sort that conservative voters are sick and tired of.
6) Mitt Romney - he's smart. He's confident. He's eloquent. He even looks like a President. And he's way too closely aligned with the Republican Party leaders and their compromise-anything approach to governing for conservative's liking. He's looking like a Party Man, and that is a bad thing. He'll definitely get the full financial backing of the Republican Party Leaders, but he hasn't shown himself to be the man conservatives hoped he'd be and for that, he isn't the man for the job.
7) Michele Bachmann - she's got balls. There is a reason that the very sick-of-business-as-usual Tea Party has been slowly wrapping their arms around her as their Chosen One, and it isn't because they want to cop a feel. It's because she says what they believe and she sticks to it. More than merely sticking to it, she explains those beliefs well and fights for them. And that is precisely what conservative voters have been desperately searching for over the past many years, only to be denied by the out-of-touch Republican Party Leaders with their Golden Boy candidates no one wants, like McCain and Dole. She won't be readily embraced by the Republican Party Leaders. In fact, looking at what they did to Sarah Palin in 2008, I expect they'll try to cut her throat right up to the very end, even if it means Obama gets reelected. But if enough conservatives are willing to support her with their checkbooks as well as their votes, she could win this thing. She impressed.
So there you go. That's the impressions that I took away from that debate in New Hampshire. I usually don't even watch these things, but I was curious to see who was an ass, who was a weasel, and who, if anyone, had some guts.
So I was just visiting a blog from long ago when I decided to leave a comment. And then I thought better of it. And then I realized that I used to think of this person as a friend and later, as someone who was not interested in being a friend at all to me. And so I sat there wondering if I should comment or if perhaps they would not care for me to. And then I realized that I waste time on a lot of people who don't make me feel especially welcome. And I began to wonder why I do that? Why do I spend one minute of my time on people who don't seem to care if I stop by and aren't even nice enough to be my friend on Facebook or Twitter or some other website that barely involves any real contact at all? Why don't I just write these people off and drop them from my world altogether? I don't know, but a change is coming. I can feel it boiling up inside of me.
Police
I just saw an ad for yet another new cop show on TV featuring pretty people playing cops who go around beating the living crap out of anyone and everyone who gets in their way. It's called "Chicagoland" or "ChicagoCode" or something. Basically, according to the world of TV, there are the cops and then there are the 'bad guys' and that means anyone who isn't a cop, reporter, prosecutor, or woman. So if you're some guy standing on the sidewalk working a hotdog stand and the TV cops come along, expect to get the shit kicked out of you because you're a 'bad guy' and therefore not a human being. I get the impression that the writers of these shows have never been roughed up by real cops or had anyone they care about beaten and tortured and sent to the hospital by overzealous and unaccountable real cops because if they had they might hold a slightly different view of a world filled with bad cops*. And that's what most of these TV cops are, bad cops. We don't need more of this.
I remember a brief period when I was a kid, the baby boomers had gained so much experience dealing with bad cops that, once they began to come into power, they altered laws governing how police treat private citizens to such a degree that many people felt the cops had their hands tied behind their backs because suddenly they had to respect a few basic human rights among the citizens. On television many shows wouldn't even allow their TV cops to carry guns (CHiPs) or really rough anyone up to any great extent. It was the age of Charlie's Angels and love taps that took a man down without any real harm or indecent assaults to the genitals. That didn't last long, though, and today we live in a world where it seems like things have gone too far the other way. Way too far.
Football
We're in the heat of the NFL playoffs leading up to the Superbowl, the biggest game of the year, and I'm already sick of watching football. Despite this football fatigue, the NFL corporate bigwigs are pushing to add 2 more weeks of games, which the players themselves don't want. And whose grand idea was it to move the Pro Bowl to the week BEFORE the Superbowl? Clearly anyone playing in the Superbowl can't play in that game, so that removes many top players from that game. Sometimes I think every corporate and political leader in America is high on crack.
Politics
For the past few years there has been a long overdue revolt among conservative voters against their own Republican Party. It couldn't be more obvious that the leaders of the Republican Party are totally out of touch with and often opposed to the views of their voter base. Following 2 devastating defeats in a row in national elections where conservative voters sent a crystal clear message to their party that they were not willing to accept the treacherous douchebags being offered to them in place of actual leaders, the voters grew fed up and formed the Tea Party, a movement more than an actual political party, which assembles disgruntled voters and mobilzes them to action. They kicked out many "party men" in congressional elections, booting the Republican leadership approved douches and replacing them with a third-party candidate from out of nowhere, often winning the overall election due to the fact that their candidate more accurately reflected the views of the voters than either the 'chosen' Republican candidate or the Democrat. Despite all this, the Republican Party leadership remains primarly a Log Cabin affair, with the same good old boys and girls being chosen for the more important positions, such as Speaker of the House and especially the Republican Party leader himself, previously held by a guy almost no one had ever heard of and then replaced with another guy no one has ever heard of. Meanwhile, their Speaker of the House, Mr Crybaby Boehner, continues to very cynically and shamelessly play his "I feel your pain" female-appeasement card by dressing himself in pink and crying like a blue-eyed infant every time the cameras are rolling, just to show how terribly sensitive and caring he is. Clearly this man has higher aspirations. He obviously believes that the key to achieving greater positions of power for himself is to sucker emotion-focused female voters into thinking he is a delicate flower who could substitute for Oprah if she should ever go on vacation. To the rest of us he is a good indication that the cleanup of that particular political party isn't nearly done yet. Perhaps the Republican Party leaders and the few males still left in the Democratic Party could get together and form a new party, the Metrosexual Party, with their official party color of pink, and devote as much time and energy as they please to tearful appeals to Oprah fans while the rest of us focus on the actual issues.
Exercise
I don't know what to make of this, but four days after my last pump class workout I am still walking like a testicular cancer patient because my legs are so sore. I had complained repeatedly here and elsewhere about my trainer not really doing what I hired him to do. This intense pain combined with my lousy performance in pump class seems to support my view. Its ridiculous the shape I'm in after working out so much over the years. If I can survive this class I think it will help me a lot.
The Blog World
Blogs come and blogs go and why I'm still here I do not know. I've noticed that truly spectacular blogs often inspire new blogs written by their real-life friends, but those supplementary blogs seem to flame on and then burn out much more quickly than the original that inspired them. And then there are the supernovas, the blogs that burst onto the scene, dazzle us all with their newness and unique perspectives, and then just as quickly shut down. There are so many great blogs that have come onto the scene and inspired us over the years, only to eventually retire and walk away, leaving a hole in our blogrolling hearts in need of filling. After almost 7 years of this I have begun to feel that some blogs simply cannot be replaced. Those blogs tend to be written by people who are remarkably unique and likeable. And then there are the other blogs, like mine, written by dysfunctional people who seem to inspire as many haters as fans, if not more, and yet continue to creep along for reasons that make sense only to the blogger themself.
A fellow blogger had suggested to me that the name of my blog, Nude Memphis, actually drives a lot of potential readers away as it creates the impression of being a porno blog. I don't know if this is true or not, but I'm betting most of you aren't still reading at this point and thus won't see or respond to this question, but I'd like to know what you think about that? Should I drop "Nude" from the title of my blog?
* Bad Cops - I just want to make clear that I do recognize the existence of both good cops and bad cops. We need good cops and good laws. Unfortunately, recent developments in our laws have done nothing to encourage more good cops, but plenty to create a lot more bad cops. Our lawmakers have been totally absent on issues in need of authentic leadership and decent legislation dealing with many very real problems. Even many veteran cops have voiced concerns about a lot of things going on today and Lord knows the medical community has.
What would you do if you had a friend, whom you really liked a lot, who was a supporter of a hate group?
What if it was a hate group that targeted you?
What if it was a hate group that encouraged the murder of anyone like you, and would defend this person if they murdered you, regardless of the circumstances, even going so far as to provide them with a top defense attorney free of charge?
What if your friend was completely deluded about what the movement actually stood for, about what it actually was? What if they insisted it was a nice movement, all about peace and love and everyone getting along and having an equal share of everything, but all the while you knew that it was nothing like that and never had been? You had tried and tried to tell your friend the truth, but they just didn't want to hear it. They didn't want to know the truth because the truth is unpleasant. They preferred the lie because it makes them and everyone like them out to be martyrs and heroes.
"No, it's not like that," they insisted. "Sure, there are some radicals, but that's not what its all about."
"Those radicals created the movement. They run it. They control it and determine everything it does," you countered.
"Yes, but that's not what most people want," they insisted.
"No, I know it isn't. But it doesn't change what the movement is just because you wish it were different. It is what it is."
What if you showed them direct quotes from every single founding member of their beloved movement, as well as all the current leaders, in which these people expressed the most vile and blatant hatred of you and all those like you, and yet your friend stubbornly and illogically dismissed the statements, excusing them by saying things like, "I'm sure they didn't mean it the way it sounds" or "you just don't understand" and still they continued to follow these haters and to defend them and their murderous movement?
What if they would crucify you or anyone else like you if you were to ever make similar statements as those their founders and leaders had made, but you directed the statements back at them?
What if you regularly saw on the news where people just like you were being robbed, denied justice in court, mutilated, tortured, and even murdered by people like them, people who believe what they believe, and then you heard your friend laugh and celebrate these crimes, justifying them and making excuses for the hate criminals, reflexively declaring the victims to be deserving of it despite the fact that your friend knew virtually nothing about the cases or circumstances at all? What then? Would you you blow it off? Would you overlook it?
What if the leaders of their hate movement were experts at making excuses, always twisting everything around so that no matter what evil things their followers did, they always managed to argue that they were the real victims while their victims were declared to be oppressors? What if they were damned good at it, very talented at arguing and persuading lots of ignorant, weak-minded, and youthful people that no matter what, everything they did is always justified, and everything their victims suffered because of them was also always justified?
What if large masses of people joined with them and agreed with them?
What if other nations' governments began to join with them, writing their hate and lies into their laws?
What if the News Media was entirely on their side, promoting all their hatred of you as a kind of religion, declaring that there is no need for debate and it is time that everyone simply accept it all as true?
What if the Media helped them create a huge lie about a conspiracy to oppress them and hurt them, a conspiracy to wage war on them, and when there was absolutely no evidence to support their lie, they simply attempted to manufacture the evidence by claiming they had it hidden somewhere, but weren't going to show it to anyone? What if they were caught in this lie over and over and over again, and yet they were never held accountable, never held to the same standard of truthfulness that you and others like you are held to, so that they could just continue telling lies as often as they wished and it became clear that no one in authority was ever going to do anything about it?
What if the leaders of this hate movement stood before your nation's government and told these lies in order to get laws passed declaring themselves to be a special "protected class" and you and all others like you, to be a "hated unprotected criminal class" with few rights and no legal protections when faced with accusations by them?
What if your government established special federal agencies whose only job was to hunt you and accuse you based on the mountain of lies that by now had been created by them about you, and they paid for these agencies with your hard-earned tax dollars that your government takes from you by force?
What if your friend honestly believed all the lies and truly didn't think they were hurting you with the hate they were supporting, and you got along fine with them otherwise, except when anything related to their religion, their faith in their own superiority came up? Would you remain friends with them?
Would you grit your teeth and just ignore them whenever they spouted off stupid religious dogma and political propaganda related to their faith in the movement that was actively working to enslave and destroy you?
Would you call them a 'hater' and break off all contact with them, even though you knew you were just going to encounter hundreds more exactly like them everywhere you went thanks to the evangelical influence of television over the masses?
Would you take it as long as you could until you finally exploded and punched them in the face?
I was just sitting here on the computer Tuesday night, Twittering and Facebooking while President Obama made his 1000th speech this month. It was an interesting experience. Everyone was writing their reactions to his speech in real time.
For several years I worked at one of the largest banks in the Southeastern United States. I looked at the mountains of bad mortgages, and the incredible huge black holes of financial debt Americans were happily piling onto their futures in order to 'live the dream'. I saw all of this, along with the reports of how alongside the debt was a near complete lack of money in savings, simply so they could drive a BMW SUV and wear something with 'Prada' written on it, and I wondered, has the average American really become this reckless, this foolish, this superficial, this low class, this blind to the consequences of the path we're on?
Tonight I saw a glimpse into my answer.
For twelve years, former President Roosevelt insisted that the incredibly long, drawn out Depression wasn't his fault. Oh no, it was the fault of the previous administration, President Hoover's administration. Yes, for twelve long years. And people bought it. Enough Americans believed that horseshit to reelect him more times than any other president in U.S. history. Roosevelt loved making speeches and was an expert at bullshitting his way free of blame, relying heavily on his charisma. Today, President Obama and the Press regularly compare Barack and his policies to President Roosevelt. And this despite the fact that economists looking back at Roosevelt's policies and their impact have concluded that he didn't solve the Depression at all. He made it worse. He made it much, much worse.
Historians defend President Roosevelt from the economists by saying "he didn't know. No one knew back then. He did what seemed like the best idea at the time."
Fine, he did what they thought was best at the time, lacking any better information to go on. I'll give them that, even though it isn't entirely correct. It most certainly isn't true anymore. We know why it was a mistake and specifically what aspects of Roosevelt's ever-expanding Federal Government were the worst mistakes of all. We know, but we've learned nothing from it. We're doing it again, only this time we're doing it on a much larger scale, and in response to a much smaller crisis.
Yes, we have a big crisis. But the Depression was dramatically worse than this. Rahm Emanuel spelled out Obama's strategy clearly when he said "don't waste this crisis." Everyone who knows who Rahm Emanuel is knows exactly what he meant:
'While Americans are emotional, while Americans are enjoying the soap opera and the drama and not thinking clearly, logically, objectively, let us build the Socialist Dream that Saul Alinsky envisioned. Let us complete the castration of the West and turn the Shining City on a Hill into the biggest Nanny State in Western history.'
And so we shall.
Sure, France and Germany have been slowly moving away from this model for a Nursery Nation because it has been such a huge failure, sucking them down into obscurity with the resulting mass temper tantrums and utter lack of masculine character that it inspires, but so what? If there's one thing we know about Progressives, it's that Progressives are slaves to the power of Denial. Failure is not simply ignored, it's denied violently. And so, even as we move to 'Universal Health care', which must be paid for by an ever-shrinking body of American workers who already can't afford health care, we are simultaneously rebuilding the Welfare State that was partially dismantled in the 1990s by Bill Clinton and the Republican Congress. How ironic to see a day when Republicans might wish for Bill Clinton to return. And yet, that day is here. I watched a documentary the other night on Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. I watched the people, all dressed in red, cheering with tears in their eyes for their 'great leader' while he gave an emotional rah rah speech. I watched as he strutted around, steadily growing accustomed to the power and the adoration. I listened to excerpts from several of his speeches in which he lectured the nation like a mother hen, pecking at them for buying things which he didn't feel they needed, things like Prada purses and SUVs, finally making it illegal to do so. His arrogance grew steadily and noticeably in the clips they showed, stepping from one year to the next so that you could easily see the progression in his ego and his arrogance and most of all, in his power and control over The People. He made lots and lots of speeches. The longer he remained in power, the more speeches he made, rambling on and on about what everyone should and shouldn't do, should and shouldn't want, like a drunken man who simply enjoys the sound of his own voice.
At the end of the documentary, they showed some of the younger generation of Venezuelans. They showed how they were disgusted with their parents who blindly worshipped and followed Chavez despite the glaring failures of socialism and all his empty, emotion-driven broken promises. They rolled their eyes as their mothers praised Chavez for his ability to bring them to tears with his words of hope and 'yes we can'. The old ladies didn't care that his policies had brought a rich and prosperous nation to ruin. All that mattered to them was the fact that his words were like a Hallmark card, making them cry with emotion.
The more I learn about the roots of the current financial crisis, the angrier I get. Bill Clinton himself, in an incredibly uncharacteristic statement, admitted his share of the blame for the subprime mortgage crisis. He even called on the rest of the Democratic Party to do likewise. They, of course, refused. Still, the subprime mortgage crisis isn't the whole crisis. It's just one piece to a much larger puzzle.
Barack Obama's own Black Congressional Caucus, working hand-in-hand with ACORN, a political racketeering organization known to openly and illegally stuff ballot boxes and blackmail financial institutions, in blatant violation of the law, also bears a large portion of blame.
George Bush and the Republican Party, increasing spending on socialist programs that they knew damn well their supporters did not support, bear a share of the blame, too. And for the Republicans part, they were kicked out by those same former supporters. But so far they have been the only ones to suffer any punishment for these abuses of power.
The feeding frenzy in Washington, D.C. has been growing out of control for decades. My father once gave me a book written by a former member of the House of Representatives. In the book the author warned about the "pigs at the trough" who were growing in number and in power in Washington, sucking the blood out of our nation's economy. The former Congressman warned that if they weren't stopped, they would grow and grow until they brought the entire economy to its knees. It was an old book, written around 1980. Things weren't even half as bad then as they are today.
Barack Obama's speaking abilities are excellent. He's as good as any televangelist I've ever heard, and far better than either former Presidents named Bush or any of the current Republicans. But the emotional response to his empty rhetoric by The People in this country is disturbing. It's also dangerous. I wish I could believe that Americans are too smart to be taken in by the likes of Nancy "raging ego" Pelosi, Joe "vagina" Biden, Rahm "don't waste this crisis" Emanuel, or any of the host of other scam artists who perpetually surround our new President like a dark shadow. But the statistics on the steady rise in personal debt willingly embraced by the average American citizen over the past many years following the stock market crash of 2000, so strongly contrasted with the near complete absence of savings, tells me otherwise. I'm not talking about debt taken on out of necessity. I'm talking about enormous personal debt taken on in order to buy, buy, buy without ever stopping simply because shopping is fun and exciting and feels good. I'm talking about a nation of shopaholics who buy things because Oprah recommended it, because it's shiny, because the ads for it appealed to their "strong, independent" ego, or simply because the feeling of buying something new was the only good feeling left in their empty, me-first and me-only lives.
Many years ago, Osama bin Laden and his Oxford-educated Muslim jihad advisers, very intelligently and correctly surmised that a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City, if successful, would bring the Western financial world to its knees. They hit it in 1993 using a truck bomb, hoping that by blowing up the base of one of the two tallest towers, they could cause it to fall into the other of the tallest towers, bringing both towers crashing down. The bomb exploded successfully, but it didn't bring either tower down. For eight years the White House under Bill Clinton, did very little about the attack. They let Osama go without giving him any trouble at all.
And then, on September 11th, 2001, Osama's soldiers tried again. They had studied and planned for eight additional years why their initial attack had failed and what sort of attack would be necessary to succeed. Despite the political cartoons depicting them as towel-headed morons, the reality is that despite their emotion-laden, tear jerking, "Yes-We-Can" jihad speeches, the men leading them are not fools at all. They are generals. And they knew what they were doing when they successfully brought down both Tower One and Tower Two of the World Trade Center. It was an enormous rock thrown into the center of a sea of trade, and the ripples kept right on flowing across the oceans of trade for years after, building into a tidal wave.
Couple the terrorist destruction of the financial trade center of the Western World with the housing crisis made infinitely worse by the Democratic Party, Barack Obama's Congressional Black Caucus, and the ACORN-pirates, and you have major disaster on your hands. Add to that the dramatic expansion of Government under the Clinton White House and Republican Congress of the late '90s, and later continuing under the Bush White House and formerly Republican Congress in the early 21st Century, and you begin to see more causes of the current unraveling of our economy.
Throw in Bernard Madoff and his hedge fund, stealing over $50 billion from the world's richest few, add a dash of other crooks just like him, but on a smaller scale, and it's like gasoline on an already huge raging fire.
No, it wasn't a failure of capitalism that created this mess, as Barack Obama claims. It was corruption, massive out-of-control corruption at the highest levels of government.
Still, the fire could be put out. The worst has hit us and we know who and what our enemy is. We know what has to be done. We also know what the worst possible thing we could do is. The worst possible thing we could do is to allow politicians, the very same politicians whose faces are still covered in golden pork from having their heads buried deep in the trough of taxpayer money for so many years, to exploit this crisis, their crisis for which they bear so much personal blame. To allow these pigs to exploit the emotion and the fear of the American people in order to explode the size of the Federal Government into the single largest entity in the nation, producing nothing while devouring everything, including the Constitution and all the rights and powers of The People, is nothing short of treason. And if the word 'treason' bothers you, then replace it with 'suicide'. The end result is the same.
I'd like to believe that Americans are too smart to allow our nation to be transformed into one of the most ineffective lumbering socialist regimes in the Western hemisphere. I'd like to believe that we're smarter than the people of Venezuela, smarter than the people of Cuba, smarter than the people of China with its infamous purges of which our history books say virtually nothing. I'd especially like to believe that Americans today are smarter than the people of Germany in the 1930s, where socialism's greatest emotional orator of the 20th Century rose to power amid a sea of worshipful tears, screaming fans, and enthusiastic chants of "social justice" and "hail the victory".
I'd like to believe it. But I've just read that President Obama is doing away with President Bush's tax cuts, the only thing proven to effectively stimulate the economy. I've just read how he is rebuilding the Welfare State, bigger and badder than it was before, with states being rewarded not for encouraging the disadvantaged to work and become self-sufficient, but instead for dragging as many citizens as possible onto the roles of welfare, adding as many as possible and receiving Federal Money in return for each and every one. In other words, if the States are able to sign up every single formerly working citizen for welfare, Obama's new policy rewards them for all of them. Not even Roosevelt envisioned this.
Some call it 'hope'. Some call it 'change'. Some call it 'yes we can'. I'll be curious to hear what they're calling it 4 years from now.
I need to write a new post, but I'm sick and don't feel terribly inspired. There are plenty of things I could write about, but I don't feel much like writing about any of them. I'm not sure why. Anyway, I guess I'm going to write about things I don't feel inspired to write about, things I couldn't care less about. For example ...
Obama's giant, most-expensive-ever, inauguration.
Ka-Ching!
I've been aware for quite some time that moron ex-hippies from the baby boomer generation think that if a man is black, he must be noble and good and better than you. Also, if he's gay or an American Indian or a Middle Eastern terrorist or homeless. Anyway, to the ex-hippies of the Woodstock generation, being a black man gives you an instant free pass. You can spout off all the stupidity and racism you want and they'll applaud you for it.
Still, why so much hoopla over the inaguration of Obama? He hasn't done anything of note, other than being right smack in the middle of the sub-prime mortage crisis that robbed the entire world in one fell swoop, that is. I mean, I know people tend to love a Bonnie and Clyde type, a criminal who gets away with the cash in a blaze of gunfire and glory, but the fact is there wasn't any gunfire and glory. So what's the deal here?
Is it because he's half-black? Is that all it is? Because it sure as hell looks that way to me, and I can't help but think that if this is why so many people are swooning over this Chicago mafia politician, then they're all racists. And I mean that with all my heart. If you think a man is better suited to lead because he's blacker than you are then you are a racist. If your sole reason for being excited about Barack Obama becoming president is the color of his skin, then you, sir or madam, are a flaming bigoted racist. Yes sir, it's true.
I say this because, first of all, anyone who doesn't like him is automatically accused of racism. And secondly, because no one raising their hands and chanting "Amen, brother Obama, Amen and praise Jesus" has produced one single example of something worthwhile that Obama has done to explain their trust in him. The man was in the Senate for all of 4 years and this is the sum total of his entire career. So what did he do in those 4 years? What groundbreaking legislation did he sponsor? What leadership role did he play?
None. Zip. Zero. Zilch.
Before I go on, let me point out that liking him or having voted for him is not the same thing as swooning over him or going to his inaguaration and peeing yourself with excitement over him. There's a difference and I am fully aware of that.
Now, getting back to the point, having grown up in several big Baptist churches, I've seen my share of charismatic flim-flam men who come into town, whip the old ladies into an orgasmic frenzy of "hallelujah"s with empty rhetoric and an even emptier suit, and then disappeared with wads of cash. Also, whenever anyone wants to run for the position of City Prosecutor, he always makes a sudden appearence at the largest and most influential Baptist church in town, where he shakes lots of hands and smiles at lots of easily influenced old ladies. He suddenly 'finds Jesus' just long enough to get elected, after which he is never seen in church again. So when I say I am familiar with bullshitters I want you to know that I mean it. And Obama, with his sing-song speeches that point out supposed problems and yet never seem to offer any concrete solutions of any kind, he's a bullshitter.
Yes, it's true. And the worst part is, he's not even that good at it. I've seen better many times over. But he's black, you see, or half-black. And he talks extremely white. And he wears a massively expensive suit. Women just eat that shit up. So every time he cat-walks up onstage to bullshit an audience with a very white voice, the women are all swooning and soaking their panties before he even opens his mouth. And when he speaks, saying absolutely nothing, they swoon over his deep voice and the melodic way he bounces his words around.
I realize that his hand-picked opponent, John McCain, was his exact opposite, a poor speaker with zero charisma and a penchant for lousy, cheap suits. I know that in an Oprah Winfrey Nation like America has become, there was no way in hell that a faded old flag-waver like John McCain was ever going to beat a Southern Baptist televangelist like Barack Obama. It didn't make one bit of difference what either of them actually said in their speeches. It didn't make one bit of difference if one of them is tied to hate groups who promote racism. In fact, it wouldn't have made any difference if Obama had punched his wife dead in the face on national television and told her to get in the kitchen and bake him some pie. The women would still swoon over him and vote for him in record numbers. And somehow his punching of his wife would be twisted around and spun in such a way as to portray it as manly and macho and good. You know it would.
Just like it did when Paula Jones filed suit against President Bill Clinton for sexual harassment and all the feminist hate groups suddenly didn't have a problem with blatant sexual harassment. No, they defended him and said they LOVE a good sexual harassment.
Still, all these people talking about how 'historic' this particular inaguration is just makes me wonder if everyone has forgotten that Bill Clinton was already decreed the "first black president" by the black political lobby some 8 years ago. You can't take that back. What's done is done. Clinton was the first black president. Obama is just the first president with a black wife.
Get in the kitchen and bake me some pie!
Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Whatshisface, are apparently having huge fights. According to the grocery store tabloids, they are getting physical now.
Wasn't Jennifer Lopez in some misandric film where her ex-husband stalked her and abused her so she studied Krav Maga and murdered him? So what's the problem here? Clearly she's not in any danger. If anyone is, it's him. He has no chance in a fight against her, plus not having any legal rights or protections either. He's doubly screwed. If she's beating him, no matter what he does or doesn't do, he's going to prison for it. So there really isn't much to say about this, is there? Is there just so little going on, what with the world in a gigantic financial crisis and the governor of Illinois being impeached and all, that there is nothing better to talk about? Really? J Lo?
Who cares? Madonna and Guy Ritchie divorce turns ug ... ZZZZZ. Oh sorry, did I doze off? I guess it's because I DON'T CARE. Sean Penn makes film about gay political activist named Harvey Milk. The film is guaranteed to win tons of awards for being so uber politically correct, and yet not be seen by anyone because it's not about anything that anyone really wants to see, much like most of the movies coming out of Hollywood these days. Israel is fighting with Hezbolla in Gaza and people are dying.
Really? Doesn't this shit happen like every other day? Why are we suddenly going gung ho against Israel for shooting at terrorists when this shit is happening all the time? Is there nothing else? No financial crisis sweeping the globe? No "first half-black president with hugely expensive inauguration" or anything? I can't even try to care here.
Holy Mother of God!
A fashion designer in Chile has dressed up some of his models as the Virgin Mary. Some of his models are not wearing a lot of clothes and some of them have some serious tits. So Catholics are upset. I understand that if someone attacks your faith you have a right and even an obligation to be offended, but I don't see what the offense is here. How do we know if Mary was busty or not? She might have been stacked like a brick shithouse. Granted, history indicates she was probably between 12 and 14 years of age at the time Jesus was born, but even so, there have been cases of girls younger than that developing bodies that would make Hugh Hefner blush. It's possible. What's all the hubub, bub? Russia cuts off flow of natural gas to Ukraine and Europe, accusing the Ukraine of ... blah blah blah. Who gives a shit what Russia accuses the Ukraine of doing? You know it's bullshit because it came from Russia. Remember Russia? They're the same country that tried to murder the president of Ukraine by poisoning him. He still has the scarred face to prove it. Any time Russia fucks with anyone they always follow up their attacks with a lot of accusations. It's the standard behavior of a sociopath. To me, all their accusations are just like a distant barking dog. I might shoot him or I might just roll over and go back to sleep. Yes, yes, I know. Somewhere in all of this is something that you do care about. And you probably think that I should, too. But I just don't. I can't. I don't know how to explain why. I just don't. It's after midnight, it's Monday, and I've been sick all weekend. I don't care about much of any of the shit I'm seeing in the news lately. The shit I care about is mostly not being reported or talked about with any real attempt to make it clear. The shit I care about is being quickly hidden behind a giant inauguration, a bunch of misdirection, and a quick as lightning impeachment. Oh, and there's a stolen election in Minnesota affecting the U.S. Senate to talk about, too, but you won't be hearing about it. Nope. I mean, how could that possibly matter?
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (Reuters) – Federal authorities arrested the mayor of Birmingham, Alabama, on Monday in a corruption probe surrounding a sewer bond debt that could lead to the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history. Authorities arrested Mayor Larry Langford in Birmingham at 7 a.m. (1200 GMT) and charged him with 60 counts including bribery, money laundering, conspiracy and filing false tax returns, according to U.S. Attorney Alice Martin.
Langford was charged along with investment banker William Blount and lobbyist Al LaPierre for a total of 101 counts. The government said it was also seeking $7.6 million in forfeiture from the three men.
"He sold out his public office to his friends Blount and LaPierre for about $235,000 in expensive clothes, watches and cash to pay his growing personal debt. All the while, Blount was paid fees topping $7 million," said Martin.
If I were a politician, the worst thing that could ever happen to me and my party, whichever party I was in, would be if the most motivated supporters of both parties were to ever get together and talk, to hash out their differences and reach some sort of agreement. The worst thing that could happen to me, Democrat or Republican, would be if the voters settled on some sort of compromise on abortion and gay marriage and other volatile issues like these, and then used their combined power to force these compromises into law, thus settling the issues and bringing peace to our nation. That would really screw me and all the other politicians like me.
If I were a politician, I would be very happy that judges have developed a habit of dramatically overstepping their authority and making decisions on cases over which they have no legitimate authority and actually belong with me and the voters. It would make my life easier. Whenever my constituents complained that I need to begin proceedings to impeach those judges I could throw up my hands and say "you need to elect more members of my party before we'll have enough votes to do that."
Whenever the voters cried out, on the left and on the right, "where do you stand on abortion? Which side do you think is right?" I would look to my party leaders and say whatever they told me to say.
"I'm all for it. I'm against it. I wish it didn't have to be this way." And then I'd do not one damn thing, as the voters fought it out in the streets, even though their votes mean nothing as a result of activist judges, unelected and unaccountable, making decisions that are actually my responsibility, and not theirs at all.
Machiavelli would love this country of ours, this Divided States of America, where we talk about our government of the people, for the people and by the people, and then proceed to rule over the people with mandates from on high while ignoring the votes the people cast.
If I were a politician I'd have friends in the funeral business and a long list of names of recently deceased registered voters in order to stuff those ballot boxes fat and full with votes that go all for me and none for anyone else. If no one called me on it, next time I'd stuff the ballot boxes of my opponent's party in their own primary, choosing the weakest candidate to run against me and then defeating him with still more fraudulent votes. I mean, why not, if no one is going to have the balls to do anything about it? What possible incentive could there be not to?
If I were a politician I'd love, love, love divisive issues like abortion and gay marriage, where the lack of action by parties on both sides results in 2 neatly divided groups of highly motivated voters. Where would this country be without highly motivated voters, I ask you? Saul Alinsky wrote quite eloquently about the importance of making sure your people are wound up tighter than Beyonce's ass while your opponent's people are feeling defeated and hopeless, or simply lazy and complacent. Either one is equally beneficial to you, the political radical, or me, the entrenched politician.
If I were a Democrat, whenever I had a strong Republican opponent, I'd shout to the rooftops, "If you don't get out the vote for me, my opponent will outlaw abortion! Spread the word to women everywhere to vote for me or women will die!"
If I were a Republican, whenever I was campaigning, I'd shout "vote for me or more babies will die!" And once elected, even when my party controlled the entire Congress, both the House and the Senate, and the White House, too, I'd do absolutely nothing to stop abortions. Why should I? The fighting in the streets is what got my people to the polls in the first place. It's what got me into this nice comfy position of power and wealth. Why would I or anyone else in my position want to change a damn thing? What am I going to campaign for next time if I outlaw abortion now?
If I were a Democrat, I'd campaign with the promise that if elected I'd create a bill redefining marriage and allowing anyone to marry anyone else, without regard to sex. I'd do this because the gay voters are organized and highly motivated and have a great deal of money and media influence. Plus, this is what they desperately want to hear and I know that the best way to win an election is to tell people what they want to hear. I'd scream out that not redefining marriage for my gay voting block is 'discrimination' and then I'd equate the fight with the civil rights movement of my other massive voting block, the black people, whom I also need to keep motivated in order to get out and vote for me. Of course, once elected, even if we controlled the House and the Senate and the White House, in fact, even if we had a SUPER MAJORITY in the Senate, I wouldn't do a damn thing about passing gay marriage because if I did, what will I campaign on next time? What is going to motivate my voters as much as this?
Right now they're out in the streets spitting on Christians and Republicans everywhere they find them, breaking into churches and terrorizing the faithful. You don't get any more motivated than that, and that is how I like my voters to be as much as possible. I like my voters to be angry and in tears. I like my voters to be irrational and upset. I don't want to do anything that would stop this deluge of violence and rage and hate. I benefit from it. Just because I could pass gay marriage now, what with no opposition party being able to stop me and my party from doing whatever the hell we please for the next few years, I wouldn't do it. If I did then I'd stand to lose all of this fanatical support the moment the issue was settled and the fighting stopped.
Everyone knows that the moment a political party solves the problems they were elected to solve, that party then has to either find a whole new set of crises, or else they get booted out and replaced with the 'other' party. Only fools solve the problems they were elected to solve.
If I were a politician, I'd study Machiavelli and Saul Alinsky more than a monk studies the Bible. I'd practice my speech making skills until I was more skilled at stirring irrational emotions than a televangelist, but I'd look and sound just like one. Those fuckers are masters at kicking up a lot of emotion and that is precisely what I'd be, too. People don't think clearly when their emotions are stirred. They just react. You can get women to murder their loving husbands with emotion. You can get 12 women on a jury to then let that husband-murdering woman go, even though they know she's guilty as hell, all with nothing more than raw emotion. You can get a God-fearing, Bible-thumping, redneck Methodist to bomb an abortion clinic with emotion. You can get gay people to burn churches and punch old ladies holding crosses with emotion. You can get the faithful to strap on bombs and drive a truck into a Marine base, killing themselves in the process with emotion. You can get fools to do any damn thing you want if you can just stir their emotions enough.
If I were a politician, even when I had the power to resolve an issue that my supporters desperately want resolved so that they can have peace of mind and sleep at night, I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't do any more than I had to to resolve that issue, because I don't want my supporters to sleep at night. People make oddly rational decisions in their sleep sometimes. Rational decisions don't get professional politicians re-elected. Rational decisions lead to people demanding actual leadership from their elected leaders.
What I would do, though, if I were a politician, is to seize upon issues that my opponents had been using to wind up and motivate their own voters. If my opponent's supporters believe in some magical, mythical "war on women" and an "epidemic of violence against women", even though my own voters didn't like it and the Justice Department's own crime statistics showed it to be a big fat lie, I'd sponsor the bill that my opponent's man-hating supporters wanted. Even though it totally screwed my most loyal voter base, I'd slap my own name on the bill that created an entire branch of the U.S. Government whose only reason for existing was to attack and destroy those who vote most consistently for me. I'd do this because it would rob my opponent of an issue that keeps his supporters angry and emotional, while at the same time empowering a great enemy of my own supporters, who would then need me more than ever to help them in their battle for survival against the newly empowered and taxpayer-financed army of enemies seeking their destruction. They would be afraid, and there I'd be, offering to protect them, to save them.
Oh sure, a few of my supporters would know that I had betrayed them, but most of them don't pay that much attention and would just assume I had voted the other way, the rational way, the right way. No one except the NRA and NOW ever checks up on who votes which way on anything. Not ever. Anyway, it isn't as if my supporters can afford to vote against me. Voting against me means crossing over to the other side, the side that scapegoats and demonizes them at every turn in order to stir up their own loyal supporters and keep them angry and afraid. It keeps them voting, too. Crossing over isn't an option.
I'd vote in favor of bills my opponent's supporters wanted as often as I could get away with it, because it screws my opponent and steals his thunder. It also screws my own supporters, but I'd rely on their stupidity, complacency, and ignorance to keep them loyal to me. I'd say one thing and do another. No one ever checks up on this stuff.
And this would be my theme song ...
* For anyone who does not quite understand what I am actually saying here, I am using sarcasm, to convey my disgust with our so-called political leaders in America. I do not actually ever intend to run for political office, or to behave in the manner which I have previously described. Also, I do not worship the devil. Thank you.
President-Elect Barack Obama, ACORN official, U.S. Senator for all of 4 years, and Chicago area native, has chosen a new Presidential limo that he feels will help him maintain an air of authenticity with his most ardent supporters.
New presidential limo
And by 'most ardent supporters' I mean, of course, the rich liberal white women who voted for him without having the slightest idea what his policies are, who ACORN is, who Mayor Daley was, and just believe with all their hearts that Obama seems like a really great guy.
In other news, it has taken less than 2 weeks for the California Supreme Court to announce that they are going to 'review' the will of The People after the last election didn't go the way they think it should. In other words, the people of California voted not to redefine marriage. But the elitists in the legal profession feel that they know better, so they're going to negate all of that, violating the law in the process, and just force the new definition of marriage onto the citizens by judicial fiat.
In other words, your vote doesn't mean shit.
Just to sound my own horn, pat myself on the back, brag that I'm smarter than all of you and thus deserving to be a State Supreme Court justice or United States Senator like Al Franken, I want to remind everyone that this is what I said was going to happen right here on this blog the very night the votes in California were counted. I know some bloggers were upset about it. I tried to reassure them that in our modern 'progressive' nation the votes don't matter. It will be mandated from on high. And the fact is, California doesn't matter, because it is going to be mandated from Washington, D.C. for the entire nation within the next 4 years. Write it down. Make a little note with my name next to it that I predicted it. You can count on it. Fuck democracy. We have people in this country with billions of dollars who are convinced that they know what's best for us all and by God, no damn voters are going to stand in the way of their socialist dream.
Cali's Supremes
Michael Moore is on CNN's Larry King Live telling us all how the American Auto Industry needs to stop building the cars people are buying and start building the cars he thinks they should build. Michael, it's worth pointing out, has never run anything in his life. He just makes propaganda films. But he's a genius in his own mind, so I'm sure the auto industry will get right on that now that he's revealed the secret to their salvation.
The best part of the whole interview, aside from his stuttering and basic lack of any previous thoughts concerning the things he's talking about, is the fact that he hasn't shaved, bathed, or exercised in months, leaving him looking like a shaggy, fat old bear from an old Hannah Barbera cartoon. If he lets that beard grow a little longer he could be ready to play Santa Claus by Christmas time.
Ho ho ho! Somebody get me a donut!
Santa?
The United States Senate has just decided not to bail out the American auto industry. For Democrats, this is a great opportunity to blame Republicans for something while using the major unemployment resulting from this disaster to implement socialist policies giving greater control and power to the Federal Government. To Republicans, this is the fault of the Labor Unions that support the Democrats unequivocally, along with years of Democratic-mandated fuel economy standards and concessions to Big Labor that really hurt the American auto industry at its peak. To Libertarians, if the American auto industry and Big Labor are as sick as they appear to be, perhaps letting them both drown together would be for the best.
What's most interesting to me, as I flip channels and move from CNN to Fox News, is how the Republicans over on Fox are talking as if Obama and the Democrats who now control everything are just like them and will surely listen to reason, i.e. their arguments, and do what is right. This whole conversation they're having here is reminding me of how John McCain just bent right on over and gave the speech of his life as he showed the world what a fabulous loser he can be. That pretty much sums up the Republican Party today to me - a great bunch of losers. Nobody loses better. So awesome.
Just to keep with the flow here of blogging about what is on my TV, they're now talking to a Republican Party strategist. She's a girl of about 20 and very cute. I'd do her. But hire her as a strategist? I don't think so. On the Left, representing a womyn's group, is a much older woman. She's not attractive and I wouldn't do her, which is about par for the course with most Leftist womyn's groups, but she's got more experience clearly. She avoids answering direct questions like a real pro. She's rah rahing for Obama like Sarah Palin with Katie Couric and dodging the real questions almost as if she were planning to run for the Senate herself someday.
Rah Rah Barack!
I'm flipping channels mostly because on every channel there is some Hollywood celebrity worshipping Saint Obama on one talk show or another and singing his praises with choirs and silky white robes. It's the largest religious revival this country has ever seen and what is most remarkable about it is the fact that most of the most religious celebrants in all of this are the atheists and the agnostics among them who love nothing more than to make fun of the Christians for behaving in exactly the same way.
Even more remarkable, as pointed out by an Obama supporter named Tigger, is that all of this is occurring along with a large amount of Obama-bashing, and yet the man hasn't even taken office yet.
"This is your wallet. I shall take of it and eat."
Oooh LOOK - who saw this coming? I mean, besides ME.
I only wrote this post because I wanted to blog the Obama limo picture. Someone emailed it to me and it made me laugh. But as long as we've come this far with my blathering, let me leave you with this ...
One of the biggest stories of this election has been the massive vote fraud engaged in by left-leaning organizations such as ACORN. There has allegedly been more overt election vote fraud this November than ever before in our nation's history. And it is still going on right now in some unusually close elections where run-offs and recounts have been required. Polls showed many of these would not be close, but something oddly improbable has occurred. Repeatedly.
Mark Begich
In Alaska, magical votes have appeared from out of thin air, all for Democrat Mark Begich and none for any other candidate, suddenly giving him the lead over incumbent Republican Ted Stevens, whom he trailed substantially before a sudden and improbable reversal. As of today, Begich's new mysterious gain gives him an 814 vote lead courtesy of absentee ballots from out of nowhere.
Al Franken
In Minnesota, where Democrats with funding from George Soros placed ACORN activist Mark Ritchie in as Secretary of State and thus overseer of all election activities back in 2004 amidst allegations of vote fraud, Al Franken has magically received hundreds of new votes just like Mark Begich during a recount, while no other candidate has received any new votes at all. He has yet to mysteriously pull into the lead, but the magical new votes just keep appearing.
Once all the magical new votes are counted, should Franken win, apparently through the help of his fairy godmother, the Democrats will have their 60-seat supermajority and absolute power in the United States federal government.
I'm so poopy today it's a wonder I haven't imploded. Or lost a noticable amount of weight, at least. At first I thought it was stress, but now I'm pretty sure I'm actually sick. Ah, joy, I have the shits!
Speaking of shit, everything on TV is driving me crazy tonight.
So, is CNN the all "Where's Caylee" network now or what? Have they covered any other stories besides this one in weeks? Every time I flip past them, and considering the poor quality of their reporting I only ever flip by them, the only thing they have on is the "Where's Caylee" show. I don't fucking know where Caylee is. I don't fucking know who Caylee is. And after weeks of seeing this shit over and over I don't fucking care to find out who she is, where she is, or why the bitches at CNN can't seem to think about anything else.
While retrieving this CNN picture I saw an interesting story on their website. They're asking if the Obama candidacy will inspire blacks to be more enthusiastic about voting? Hmm, this is a tough one. I just can't decide. After all, Bill Clinton was the first black president after Abraham Lincoln. Naw, I'm sure the idea of a crooked black gangsta from Chicago becoming president won't interest the black community in the least.
I was just flipping channels a moment ago when I came to the "George Lopez" show on Nickelodeon. Nick is supposed to be a children's network, right? So, George and his mom are in a bar getting drunk when the cranky old bitch decides to pick a fight with an old man who is sitting at the bar with his back to her. She keeps mouthing off at him until he finally gets up and turns around. So now he's standing there with his arms crossed. Then she gets up and sexually assaults him in the predictable way just to be a bitch. It's the sort of thing you only ever see buzzcut bulldykes and drunken 2 dollar whores do in real bars, but to be honest, the woman playing Grandmonster looks like she could be both. Anyway, George grabs the drunken sex-offender and they run out of the bar together. The man hadn't done anything to deserve to be assaulted, let alone sexually assaulted. And of course the show doesn't ever show her paying any price for what she did or in any way expressing regret for being a violent sex offender. There was no excuse for what she did no matter how they tried to play it and yet it was portrayed as harmless humor and shown to children on Viacom's Nickelodeon network. Nickelodeon has this very clip cycling over and over on their website to make absolutely sure that everyone's children sees it.
"Ha ha, Grandma is a total bitch! That's so funny! Sex crimes are funny!"
Meanwhile, on Oprah, she's bitching about how the casual use of the term 'bitch' and 'ho' to describe women in gangsta rap songs is responsible for creating our nation's culture of violence. Yeah, it isn't the fact that we teach, encourage, and celebrate sexual violence against males that is creating a culture of violence in America. No, it's the words 'bitch' and 'ho'.
Or maybe it's the extreme narcissism inherent in a culture that encourages one sex to worship themselves as goddesses while constantly declaring the opposite sex to be a bunch of worthless subhuman pigs who deserve to be sexually abused for entertainment?
Nah, it couldn't be that.
Over on the History Channel, they're showing George Lopez's old Latino gang and talking about the 'empowering' and 'strong independent' murders they commit while running drugs to the Satan Disciples in L.A.
Oh wait, that's not George Lopez. That's some guy named Tommy. And it's not L.A. It's Chicago, where Barry Obama and his infamous ACORN organization comes from. Apparently a gang called the Satan Disciples are big Obama supporters. And if you live nearby and you aren't, they'll fucking kill you.
I wasn't happy about the graphic sexual violence Nick was glorifying on their childrens' show, so I went to their website to contact them. Not surprisingly, and as is almost always the case with these 'social justice' fanatics, there is no link allowing the audience to contact them. Quite simply, they don't give a shit about what anyone thinks. They are only interested in shoving their religion of destruction down everyone's throats from the safety of their mega-million dollar office in New York City, which in case you hadn't heard is where most of the politicized hate throughout the world comes from.
"Psycho" Sumner Redstone
Viacom owns Nickolodeon, by the way, and is controlled by the infamous raging psychopath, Sumner Redstone, the same man who controls CBS, the worst offender of all the major networks when it comes to white-male-bashing. You might recall a few years ago when "60 Minutes" sent a film crew to South Africa where they spread word that they'd put any woman on TV who would say that she had been raped. Predictably, a woman came forward anxious to be on TV. They quickly convinced the woman that in order for 'her story' to air, she must first accuse specific men of raping her. She must point at someone, someone they could film. So, she did. Then they rounded up a mob, gave the mob whips, and convinced the mob to grab the men, strip them completely naked, tie them up with their legs apart, and shred their genitals with the whips while the "60 Minutes" team filmed the whole thing. They claimed that it was 'social justice' and that they just happened to be there to film it and had nothing to do with the horrific crime they were showing to all of America on prime-time television. There was absolutely nothing to indicate that the woman had actually been raped. In fact, her own behavior made it pretty obvious that they hadn't told her what they planned to do other than putting her face on TV until they had the men stripped and tied up. She just wanted to be on TV so she told them what they wanted to hear. After that, when they began their S&M porn film, she clearly wanted nothing more to do with it. They had to shove a whip into her hand and push her at them to get her to do anything at all and even then she barely did. This was all shown, including the mens' genitals as they were being sexually tortured and screaming, during prime time on the standard UHF broadcasted CBS network not once, but twice when it came out in reruns the following summer. Since then, CBS has hidden that story and copies of it are very difficult to find.
The FCC, quite predictably, never said a word about it. If S&M porn on prime time isn't obscene, honest to God, nothing is.
Officially not obscene
See, the thing is that the politicians who ruin, er, run our government have decided that only the female vote matters. And even then, it's not the overall female vote that counts. No, it's only the female supremacist vote that counts, because they have most of the money, courtesy of government handouts that those same politicians gave them using our tax dollars. So it's all just a big kickback scheme whereby the politicans declare that they are 'helping women' while this very small handful of wealthy Washington 'womyn' return the favor with intern-delivered blowjobs and lots of favorable press courtesy of their friends up in New York. In the meantime, sexual abuse of males is treated as being good wholesome entertainment for the whole family. Of course, you have to accept their new definition of 'family' first. Otherwise it just seems like bullshit.
Speaking of our openly misandric government, John McCain was on TV again tonight. Oh don't worry, I'm not going to write about what he said. I didn't listen to what he said. Why would I? Once he spit in the faces of every person who ever asked him where he stood on the issues of father's rights I was done with him. I was just wondering who the hell picks out his suits? Have you seen his suits? The jacket looks like it's made out of cardboard and the pants look like he just pulled them out of a paper sack where someone had been using them to swat flies. Who couldn't see this in time to warn him before he stepped out in front of the cameras? "Hey John, you look like a moron in that suit. Why don't you get someone to iron those pants?" How hard would that have been?
As for Obama, he looks like he's trying out for a spot in Versace's next men's fashion show in Milan. Seriously, his suits are so shiny and polished that they're almost ridiculous, like something Elvis would wear if he were still alive. And his speeches are nothing more than the same tired old black baptist preacher sing-song bullshit that they've been doing in churches for generations. Just watch "The Blues Brothers" church scene when James Brown is preaching and compare it to an Obama speech. The only difference is that the people listening to Obama's sermons are mostly athiests who have never set foot in a church and have no idea that they're in the middle of a service. They haven't got a clue why they feel so emotional and compelled to nod mindlessly while he's sing-songing along. They can't figure out where the sudden urge to shout "yes brother", "amen brother", "preach it brother" is coming from. And when he passes that offering plate around, you'd better believe it is one hell of a miracle occuring because, by God, leftists are actually giving their own money for a change.
Anyway, I thought I had less to say. Guess I should stop here and go to bed. This poop train needs some sleep.
And now, for your entertainment, something that could only come from California ... I hope ...
