MICHAEL WELCH TALKS BOUT BD LOVE SCENE AND KRISTEN

E!OnLine- Marc Malkin  "I have not seen [it]," Michael Welch told us of Robsten's Breaking Dawn bed scene at the Second Annual Thirst Project Gala in Beverly Hills. "And I'll be honest, I can't say I'm looking forward to it, because these are good friends of mine and I don't really want to see that."

For those of you who are excited to see Edward and Bella in the sack, Jackson Rathbone told us back in February just how steamy the scene will be."It's definitely sexy," he said. "It sizzles, man. It sizzles like bacon!"Meanwhile, something Welch is looking forward to is Stewart in her upcoming fairy-tale flick Snow White and the Huntsman."She's going to make a wonderful Snow White," he said. "She's gonna do it in her Kristen-y way that only she can. But I'm really looking forward to it because I'm a big fan of her work."

Btw, Summit Entertainment tweets "BreakingDawn Part1 is the first scheduled Comic-Con panel on Thursday, July 21!"

HANNAH MARKS TALKS BOUT KRISTEN, TWILIGHT AND IS TEAM EDWARD

Celebuzz Fans may recognize Hannah from her role as Tammy in The Runaways, in which she locked lips with none other than Twilight superstar Kristen Stewart. Hm, wonder how Robert Pattinson feels about that?

What was it like working alongside the likes of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in the movie The Runaways?
It was awesome! All of my scenes were with Kristen so I got to bond with her. She is really a great, fun person to be around. It was a movie I was really excited to be a part of because I love The Runaways’ music.

Are you a Twilight fan?
I actually am a huge Twilight fan [laughs]! I love Twilight, and a lot of people make fun of me for it but I don’t care, I’m totally Team Edward.

Are you excited for the newest movie?
I am really excited! I have been sending the trailer to all of my friends. I was really excited when it went on Perez Hilton first, that was awesome!

CHRIS WEITZ TALKS BOUT THE TWILIGHT CATS

Updated! CW talks about the Twilight Cast WATCH HERE at E!OnLine
"Yeah. I really, really like those guys. Some of them are coming to support me tonight, which is really great. And I think that they're all terribly talented. It was part of the reason I did New Moon in the first place."

"I wanna figure out how they shoot that part where the baby eats its way out of Kristen's stomach!"

Anyone you would love to work with again?
CW: Kristen, Rob, and Taylor. If they let me! Sure.

What does it mean to have the support of your former cast-members like Kristen and Taylor here tonight?
It’s tremendous. I think it’s really cool. I mean because every time they come out, they face a gamut of fans and get screamed at and everything and they have to dress up and think like ‘Oh what am I supposed to wear tonight.’ It would much easier for them to just watch the DVD at home. I’m really touched that they’ve come out tonight, and it’s great to see them because I’m really fond of them. Read more

GARRETT HEDLUND AND OTR PRODUCER TALK KRISTEN AND FILM STATUS

Garrett and Kristen came out to support Chris Weitz at his premiere for A Better Life Tuesday night at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and while Stewart didn’t do any interviews, Celebuzz snagged Garett for a hot second.

Here is what he had to say about the status of the film, and working with pal Kristen.

Hedlund was on the arm of his On the Road producer Rebecca Yeldham, who is also the director of the Los Angeles Film Festival. Garrett has been with her throughout LAFF, and the two played coy when we tried to get the status of the flick.

“You are just going to have to ask the producer I have with me,” smiled Garrett, looking at Rebecca.

“Let’s see, well the status is we are in post-production, I can’t really say much more. Except that [the movie] is awesome,” Yeldham replied.

Possibly putting two and two together (since the utterly fantastic film by Weitz A Better Life was done by Summit), we asked if Summit snagged the rights to On the Road, since Hedlund showed his support Tuesday.

“Umm,” laughed Garrett again playing coy. “It’s all in discussion,” chimed in Rebecca, with a knowing smile. “We haven’t made any decisions yet.”

As for working with Kristen, Garrett said the experience was “wonderful.” “She’s a great actress, she’s awesome. It was a lot of fun.”

“They all love each other. We all love each other,” laughed Rebecca. “Hopefully we can tell you all more soon!”

FASHION POLICE EXPERT GEORGE KOTSIOPOULUS ON KRISTEN "SHE'S A BAD ASS" + HE'S TEAM JACOB

Celebuzz What do you think of Kristen Stewart wearing couture dresses with converse shoes?

I love Kristen. I have styled her a couple times and I think she is really cool and smart. She is a bad ass. Although I think there are other options.

Style wise, are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
I think Taylor has been looking really good. He wore something I would wear to the MTV Movie Awards.

CHRIS WEITZ TALKS BOUT NEW MOON - MENTION KRISTEN

Indiewire "When I turned in my director’s cut for “The Golden Compass,” the studio concluded that I was trying to turn a popcorn movie into the world’s most expensive art film; they fired my editor and took the cut from me.“New Moon” was all about getting back on the horse for me and working with some very talented people - Kristen Stewart, Alexandre DesPlat, the great Spanish cinematographer Javier Aguirresarobe. I wanted to make a lush widescreen romance out of a ‘tweener phenomenon and I knew the audience would come. I would say, “They’re expecting a cheeseburger, but I’m going to give them foie gras.”

STYLIST TARA SWENNEN TALKS BOUT KRISTEN'S MMA 2011 STYLE

“Day to day she is a jeans and Converse girl, she loves plaid shirts, her Ray-Bans, and tank tops, her style is very effortless — she’s a laid-back girl.”
“She’s more of the ‘vintage shopping on the weekend’ type than anything else,To be honest, I have wanted her in Balmain for years, we just haven’t been able to find the right dress for her. I think it’s a great brand for her and it compliments her personality. I want her to be comfortable, and she manages to pull off the look so well. God bless her for even putting the heels on for just a minute. We looked over all of her sneakers and decided that the Vans were the best ones to wear."

source  From her edgy mini to slip-on Vans, K-Stew looked stunning! Find out how they decided on her get-up.
Kristen Stewart may be most comfortable in a pair of skinny jeans and Converse sneakers, but when she gets all dressed up she looks effortlessly chic, just like she did last night on Jun. 5 at the MTV Movie Awards. We got the chance to catch up with Kristen’s stylist, Tara Swennen. The talented woman behind the edgy Balmain on Kristen that left us breathless last night said the dress seemed to be made for the star!
“It was like Christmas taking that dress out of the box, it fit her without needing a stitch of alternations. Kristen is very willing to push the boundaries. Most people would shutter at the thought of a complete safety pin and red leather dress, but she really has an adventurous side and she loved it the moment she saw it. We were both very drawn to it and the moment we zipped it up and saw how amazing her body looked, it was perfect. It was like it was made for her,” Tara said.

Aside from the fit of the frock, Tara said the style of the Balmain strapless was also consistent with Kristen’s look. “To be honest, I have wanted her in Balmain for years, we just haven’t been able to find the right dress for her. I think it’s a great brand for her and it compliments her personality.”

Kristen looked stunning on the red carpet, pairing the dress with Christian Louboutin‘s, but she looked just as chic when she slipped into a pair of Vans before taking the stage. Her fans love how she stays true to her stellar sense of style — and so does her stylist!

“I want her to be comfortable, and she manages to pull off the look so well. God bless her for even putting the heels on for just a minute. We looked over all of her sneakers and decided that the Vans were the best ones to wear. They were easy to slip on and they didn’t have laces — going up and down the steps can be difficult and I want her to be comfortable and feel great.”

While Kristen is a red carpet pro, the star is as easy-going as one would expect. “When she feels really good in something it shows — you can tell by the way she’s standing that she’s really happy.”

Kristen may have a penchant for minis on the red carpet, but everyday she prefers keeping it casual in jeans and a basic tee. “Day to day she is a jeans and Converse girl,” Tara said. She loves plaid shirts, her Ray-Bans, and tank tops, her style is very effortless — she’s a laid-back girl.”

While K-Stew has mastered her personal sense of style, she’s likely to be hard at work on set than hitting the mall. “She’s more of the ‘vintage shopping on the weekend’ type than anything else,” Tara said.

Whether she’s dressed down in jeans or all done up in a glam get-up, there’s no denying the fact that all eyes are on Kristen

ROB, KRISTEN AND TAYLOR KEEP BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD'S MIND OFF MORNING SICKNESS

The actress was able to divert her attention away by focusing on the excitement of joining her former Eclipse costars, including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, at the event.

CHASKE SPENCER TALKS BOUT KRISTEN "SHE'S REALLY A NICE GIRL"

You've stuck up for Kristen Stewart in interviews before. Why do you think the media is so hard on her?

I don't know why. People need to back off her. She's really a nice girl. I just don't think she's into the whole game. I kind of feel that way too in the sense that, "Why do I have to keep selling myself to the media to watch a movie? Why can't you just look at the work?" I think she does that and she's a really nice person. If you sit down and have coffee with her or chill out with her one-on-one or in a group, she's really a cool person. I tip my hat to her for not catering to the media. Because in the end, we're just actors. We like to work. We like to be other people. That's what we do. We're not celebrities. That's the thing. I don't think she wants to be a celebrity. She's not a reality show star. She's just a person who wants to work as an actress. People need to back off from her.

WILLIAM HURT TALKS BOUT KRISTEN - OLD INTERVIEW

William Hurt and Kristen at the LA Premiere of  'The Yellow Handkerchief', February 18th, 2010.

From Patrick/IMDb "I just watched William Hurt's DP/30 interview for The Yellow Handkerchief (2008), in which he co-starred with Kristen, and he had nothing but nice things to say about her. I though some of you may find this interesting.

Here's a quote:
She's brave as she can be and I'm defending her whenever I get a chance, and these people who say she's treating the press rudely and stuff like that, I'm going, give her a break, will ya? This is a gutsy woman. This is a young, bright, wonderful, talented, observant... You know? Let her express what she wants to express, why don't ya? Don't, you know, don't put the clamps on her just 'cause she made a big one.

JAMES WOODS TALKS BOUT KRISTEN AND 'AN AMERICAN GIRL'

James Woods talked to Joblo.com on the set of 'Straw Dogs.' And there were mentions of Kristen and 'An American Girl.' along the way.

Director Rod Lurie’s gotten some great performances out of his actors in his other movies. Is that because he lets the actors add stuff, like you mentioned?

I’ve always noticed that the best writer directors, like Oliver Stone and Marty (Scorcese) writing with Nick Peleggi, Rod, the Polish Brothers…ironically the people that write are the people most open to improvisation with actors. The first little film I did, I did a little 7 minute film I wrote, and I was all for everybody trying different things because if it’s better, you know, I get the credit. One thing Rod does, one of his techniques that I absolutely love and that I’m going to borrow if I get to do this film with Kristen Stewart called AN AMERICAN GIRL, and we’re trying to get the financing but of course it’s about a woman who’s a hero in Iraq so who in Hollywood would want to make that movie? … Maybe I’ll make her a lesbian. Juuuust kidding. Just being provocative.

But seriously, Rod’s very good at—he was a critic, so he’s very prolific and voracious watcher and student of films, and he’ll often in a scene borrow a shot or an idea from another great movie. Like he says, “You can call it borrowing, but I guess I’m just stealing.” And then incorporate it and use it to kinda launch that scene. So he’ll pick just a classic shot that you might not have seen in some little foreign movie that works great for us. And I think that’s a great way to work because it's so situational when you make a movie that even if you borrow something…like the tone of our film is much like CAPE FEAR, the Scorsese version. Very big music and kind of odd in-your-face shots, very kind of expressionistic feel to this movie.

You brought up AN AMERICAN GIRL, which started all this. Is that something you’ve written also?
No, no. Tim Metcalfe, who wrote KALIFORNIA and THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT and so on, he had shown me this beautiful script that I bought called AN AMERICAN GIRL. And I called Kristen Stewart before she was famous and said I won’t make this movie with anybody but you. She was Canadian but a wonderful actress and I wanted—

Had you worked with her before?
No, but I knew her because I know Sean (Penn) and she was in INTO THE WILD. And I was talking about directing a movie called WINGED CREATURES that I felt should be cast in a certain way and I tried to buy it from the writer and it got done and it ended up going straight to DVD and the producer wouldn’t listen to me, which is fine. Revenge is sweet. [laughs] But it had a 15 year old girl in it and I called Dennis Quaid and he said I just worked with this girl named Kristen Stewart, and Jodie Foster…they all talked about how fabulous this girl was. I saw her films and I thought she was phenomenal. So I called her up and we talked for an hour. She read the script and she flipped out. If you look at her when she talks in the press and they ask her, "What do you want to do?" She always says, "I want to do AN AMERICAN GIRL. I want to do AN AMERICAN GIRL."

Are you just going to direct it?
Director-producer. She wants me to play her father in it but I don’t want to do that as well because I’ve got a lot to do already.

What’s the movie about?
It's about a young woman who’s really destructive. It's that magical time when you’re Kristen’s age, right after you're out of high school. She was the top swimmer and dive champion in school and all this stuff. Now it's a year later and she lives in a little town in Indiana and the place is dying, rust belt, NAFTA, recession, all that stuff. And she's working in a grocery store and drinking and drugging too much and she's showing off in front of this guy who likes her, and gets involved in a big sex thing with two guys drunk one night at a quarry. And it’s a big inciting incident where she gets taped doing it on somebody's phone and in a small town, her reputation is ruined and on a drunken whim, she joins the Marines, which is ridiculous. The ironic thing is that along the way she starts learning these values she doesn't expect. They're just values like you take your brother, they take care of you. It's not like she's a gung-ho Marine. She starts to sober up and then she starts to do very well and she gets into the Lioness Program because she's smart. The Lioness Program is where they teach these women to speak Arabic, so when they're in combat situations—women in the Muslim world were not comfortable talking to men soldiers but they'd talk to the women soldiers, so these women learned to speak the language and would ask if there were arms or snipers in the house. And she does it. Well, a terrible tragedy happens over there and when she comes back to the town where she was a disaster, she rebuilds her life and finds through this tragedy a greater value in herself. It's COMING HOME, BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES—it's part of that trilogy. It's a phenomenal story and a slam-dunk Oscar script for her.

It’s so not a right wing picture because everybody who reads it—Renee Missel and Jodie Foster read and Renee said, "Oh we’ve gotta call MoveOn.org. This is such a great anti-war picture." The head of the Marine Corps read it and said, "This is such a great marine picture." I said, I’ve finally done it. I’ve found the magical brew.

Why is there trouble getting financing for it?

I’ll tell you what happened. It was just before TWILIGHT came out. I want to tell you how this happened. It’s kind of a fun story. I had just had a terrible personal year. My brother died, God rest his soul, which was the biggest tragedy I could ever imagine. "Shark" got cancelled, which I was fine with because I was just working too hard. I loved the show but it was just… Everything just started happening at once. I had some surgeries. My brother had died. My mom was not doing well. I’d broken up with my girlfriend.

Story...

So I pull in to a Holiday Inn. It’s f*cking raining sideways. I’ll never forget, it was 20 minutes to 10 on a Wednesday night. Freemont, Indiana. I go to this Bennigan’s down the road to get something to eat. And this is a commercial for the iPhone. I’m sitting at Bennigan’s just twiddling my phone and I check my email and there’s the PDF of the script from Tim Metcalfe. And it was too small to read on the phone but I thought I’ll just see what the title is. I see AN AMERICAN GIRL and I f*cking love that title. I say, "Well, I’m going to read one page.” 119 pages later I’ve got f*cking tears coming down my face. I call Tim and I go "What are you doing?" And he said, "Well, I’m 54 years old and I’m married and it’s 2:30 in the morning in Vermont: I’m getting blown by the Rockettes, what the f*ck do you think I’m doing? I’m sleeping next to my wife who’s really pissed off you're calling." I said, "Tim just so you know, I’m directing and producing this movie. That’s all there is to it." He said, "Well I sent it to Jodie Foster" and I said, "I love Jodie, she’s a friend of mine. She’s not making this movie. I’m directing this movie." We talk for 5 hours and we worked it out. I paid for it out of my own pocket and I called Kristen Stewart.

Actually I called my casting director from "Shark," Rick Millikan and I said "Rick, do me a favor. Who’s Kristen Stewart’s agent?" And he said “Ken Kaplan at Girsch.” Now I was at CAA at the time. Hadn’t had a job in 10 years. Just kidding… So I said, "Okay, call Ken Kaplan. Tell him that Jimmy Woods has a script that’s an Academy Award part for the girl, but of course Ellen Page will probably get it. (Because it was right at the time of JUNO.) But slip it to him and say you better read this, because if you’re client hasn’t had a chance to read it and Ellen Page wins an Oscar, it’s not going to be good. But whatever you do, don’t let anybody know you read it because you know Jimmy Woods; he’s a lunatic." So he calls him up and her agent says, "No, no. She’s not going to do an independent film" and he says, "You don’t want to have to explain to her like how Jimmy Wood’s agent had to explain why he was never told about RESERVOIR DOGS at CAA." It’s a legendary story. So he says, "Yeah you’re right." He reads it and he calls Rick back he says "Aw, shit. She’s going to want to do this movie."

So he sets up a conversation and she calls me. And I said, "I’m going to give you ownership of the film, because I own the film. You will be my partner in every way on this movie. So feel free to say what you want." And she says, "Oh my God, thank you. I love this movie."

And we spent months together working on the script. The greatest thing I’ve ever heard in my career, she said, "Why am I enjoying this so much? I’ve never been treated this way. You treat me like an equal." I said, "Who understands the mind of a 19 year old girl better than you. You're 19, you’re a girl, but you're an artist as well. You’re at that perfect stage.” And she’s so smart and worked so hard. I wanted her to meet the writer just so he could hear her voice. She was supposed to meet them for 5 minutes. She stayed for 4 hours. She’s absolutely committed.

SAM CLAFLIN TALKS BOUT KRISTEN

Movieline Lastly, regarding Snow White and the Huntsman: Have you yet met with Kristen Stewart?
No!

So there was no chemistry read, you were cast separately for your roles?
No, but from my understanding she seems like an absolute legend of a girl. I have a friend who worked with her, my friend Eddie Redmayne, and he says she’s really down to earth, really talented. She’s so talented, I’m a big fan of hers. So fingers crossed there’ll be chemistry. But no, I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her, which is a bit of a shame.

SAM CLAFLIN TALKS KRISTEN, ROB, SWATH AND TWILIGHT

Sam Claflin will be the Prince to Kristen's Snow White in 'Snow White and the Huntsman' and he talks to Screenrant about the love triangle between the Prince, Snow White, and the Huntsman (presumably played by Chris Hemsworth);

As to whether a love-triangle between the three is inherent in the script Claflin replied:
“Not necessarily. I don’t want to divulge too much into it, but no…It’s  still early days, I mean they’re set to start shooting not too far away – at the same time, who knows what can happen in a short space of time. I think a lot depends on the casting. At the same time, I believe that the director (Rupert Sanders) is a genius, he’s an absolute genius, and I know he’s working very, very hard at getting the final script down and ready as well as the final castings.

Given the comparisons to Twilight, we felt compelled to inquire if Claflin (who provided a generous and diplomatic response) is a fan of the franchise.
“Honestly I’ve only ever seen the first one, and it’s not because I’m not a fan, it’s just because I…I did enjoy the first one and I’m a fan of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and everyone involved. So, with the new movies coming out, I’m looking forward to seeing all of them (the films) as a whole.”

JODIE FOSTER TALKS BOUT KRISTEN

Photobucket

Google translate:

Interviewer: You said that Kristen Stewart, your partner in Panic Room , star since twilight , nor had a "character actress". What did you mean by that?

Jodie: I think that, like me, she does not feel the need to attract attention to herself. I do not dance on tables, a lampshade on his head. I can give my best even if the character that allows me to express something that rings true in me a commitment. It made me always demanding. I rubbed shoulders with actresses who wanted to just shine. The script or the dialogues become secondary to them. I have often envied.
