1. Hot trend: Smokey hot

Intensifying your eyes is a sure shot way to look gorgeous. "To attain this look, keep everything understated, including your outfit and makeup," recommends Stafford Braganza, Head Makeup artist, Lancome.
Get the look
Take a smokey eye shadow in black or brown and craft those peepers using an eye base brush, starting at the lash line and continuing upward toward the eye socket. Next, take a black eye pencil to the lash line and draw outward, towards the temple and end in a pointed tip. Now, draw over this shape and deepen with the pencil. Add layers of mascara and then rim the inside of the eyelid, top and bottom. Keep the lips muted as the focus stays on the eyes. Ensure the makeup is waterproof so you can dance the night away at the baraat.
2. Hot trend: 'Less is more'

What ruled the red carpet this Oscars is the understated, refined look! "You too can sizzle in the drizzle with this look as long as your motto is 'less is more'," asserts Stafford.

Use a concealer in yellow or pale. Dodge the foundation and prepare the base of your makeup using tinted moisturisers or a light-powder. Get the air-kissing-lips with a sheer gloss in pastel shades and use a beige or light pink eye shadow and a dash of blush on your cheeks. Finish it with a thin eye-liner on the upper and lower eyelids, ditch the mascara. To put this look together during monsoons, use only mineral makeup, waterproof kohl, transfer-resistant lipsticks and waterproof liners.

To add this sort of rough texture to your hair, use a sea salt spray-in after your hair is styled. Spray onto hair and scrunch to bring out your natural waves. Set your tresses free and enjoy the monsoon wedding.

Pinning back a torrent of unruly curls into a top-knot, the celebrities are sporting this chic hair trend everywhere.

Now, wrap your ponytail around the band and secure with bobby pins. Set the knot by spraying hairspray liberally. What's better? The splashes of rain can do them no harm.
