I was lucky enough to purchase a ticket to the SCAD Fashion Show last year (which, by the way, was fantastic, and included April Johnston from Project Runway), but this year tickets were super hard to come by. So I volunteered to usher, and in turn I had my pick of any vacant seat for free. Somehow the best seat in the house wasn't taken - at the very end of the runway. Unfortunately my Blackberry was frozen throughout the show, so no pictures or video were taken to document my incredible view, but sometimes it's better to just sit back and experience it through your own eyes instead of worrying about a camera. And I'm glad I did because it was definitely a breathtaking show... The first model who floated down the runway was oozing sexiness, which was amplified by the fact that she essentially was walking straight up to me. I was so close to the models, I could see every detail of their makeup (granted, the magenta lipstick was probably visible to even those sitting in the balcony).
My favorite collection was Merida Miller's. I know absolutely nothing about winter wear, having lived in the south for all of my life, but if I ever were to take a ski trip, of course I would want to be covered in cosmic-inspired prints.

Another one of Merida's awesome designs. If I'm not mistaken this photo was taken by her father, who was sitting next to me.

But in the end, it was really the models I fell in love with. My two favorites:

The first model to walk down the runway, the gorgeous Kashfia Mariam. (Photo Credit to South Mag).

And Madisun Moon, who was dressed in my favorite piece of the show. The top was sheer.
